Holiday Workshop: Fluid Art Christmas Ornaments
Just in time for Christmas. Create a gift or a special ornament for your tree. Ashley James will walk you through using alcohol inks on glass and ceramic ornaments. Each participant will walk away with four ornaments.

Ladies Night Out: Ceramic Holiday Gnome Workshop
Join us Friday, December 6th, at 6:00pm for a DIY workshop with your friends to paint a ceramic Christmas Gnome!
Customize your project in studio with your choice of paint colors. We do not glaze and fire these, we only use paint and use an acrylic sealer to give a glossy look. A multi-colored light kit is included with each item.

Holiday Workshop: Pet Portrait Ornaments
PAINT YOUR PET - Ornament Style

This is a 3 hour class and NO prior art skills are needed. I work with you to help you create an artistic representation of your beloved pet, or any animal you love.
After you register for the event you will need to send me a photo of your pet, or the animal you want to paint, one pet per class please. You can send it as an attachment to Ashley.worksfromtheheart@gmail.com.
The photo that you decide to use needs to be in focus, or as clear as you can get it, with good lighting. It is best if it is a close up of your pet, please crop it if needed to make sure that your pet, or animal, is the key subject of your painting.
RESERVATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL because I need to collect the images and sketch them prior to the painting day.

Once you arrive, I will work with you to help you select paint colors for your portrait. Kids Create, Moms Rejuvenate
As a mom, I know how important it is to take time for self-care so that you can show up wholeheartedly for your family, which is why I am offering a dedicated day for Moms to find rejuvenation through massage while the kids create!
Book a massage through licensed massage therapists Jasmin Villanueva or Jessica Strazis while your kiddo(s) create at the Makerspace!
You can purchase either Open Studio time ($10 for 1 hour), or Paint Your Own Pottery time (the cost of the item chosen) for your child(ren). When registering, please select the time you'd prefer.
You may drop your child off with me at the Makerspace, and venture over to your massage just several feet away! Upon completion of your massage, you will provide payment to the massage therapist based on their preferred method of payment (i.e. Venmo, Cash, etc.).

UV Resin Workshop: Holiday Jewelry
Come join us for a Parent-child bonding session to create a Holiday themed Resin Art jewelry of your own!
Learn what is UV resin & how to use it to mix color pigments with glitter and cast it in a mold or metal bezel.

Mom + Mini: UV Resin Holiday Ornaments Workshop
Our resin ornament class is a great way to get creative for the holidays. You will learn all the tips and tricks in mixing and pouring resin whilst experimenting with the use of colour and design. At the end of the class you will have made two ornaments you can hang in your home or on your tree.
The course duration is set at 2 hours - ensuring that you have enough time for full completion. All necessary materials and supplies will be provided on the day of the workshop, so you can dive right into your artistic journey without worry.

Resin Art: Alcohol Ink Paper Collage Workshop
This is a paper collage on wood with resin coating workshop! A unique gift or a little home decor that you can hang on the wall or set on any shelving space!
All attendees will have an opportunity to work with alcohol ink on yupo paper and create their own one of a kind collage art. Papers will be adhered to a wood block canvas based on their own design or two options provided by instructor. The final pieces will be sealed with epoxy resin.

Oil Painting Workshop: Mini Pet Portrait
MINI PAINT YOUR PET - OIL PAINTING
Cost: $80
This is a 2.5 hour class and NO prior art skills are needed. I work with you to help you create an artistic representation of your beloved pet, or any animal you love.
After you register for the event you will need to send me a photo of your pet, or the animal you want to paint, one pet per class please. You can send it as an attachment to Ashley.worksfromtheheart@gmail.com.
The photo that you decide to use needs to be in focus, or as clear as you can get it, with good lighting. It is best if it is a close up of your pet, please crop it if needed to make sure that your pet, or animal, is the key subject of your painting.
RESERVATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL because I need to collect the images and sketch them prior to the painting day.

When we all meet to paint, you will be ready to go with your pet or animal image.
Once you arrive, I will work with you to help you select paint colors for your portrait. I will also provide some general instructions about painting with the paints, how to mix colors, how to use the different brushes, etc. I will also provide specific art instruction and guidance for your specific portrait.
The cost of the class includes all materials as needed to complete your painting, including paints, brushes and a 6x6 canvas.
Because I need to pre-sketch your portrait, and I have limited spaces available, there will be no refunds for no shows.

Summer Outdoor Painting + Wine in the Vineyard
Not just another paint and sip class, this is a full-sensory experience. This painting in the vineyard workshop provides a beautiful, stress-free environment that will both inspire your creative spirit and indulge the wine-lover in you. Don’t consider yourself an artist just yet? Don’t worry. I will walk you through the entire painting process step-by-step. No previous painting experience necessary. You’ll be amazed at what you can create in just a few hours- even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush in your life!

Drink, Laugh + Paint: Painting Swap Challenge
You do not have to be artist of the year for this, it’s for everyone!
Each person will have their own 11x14 canvas board and will paint something, then the fun stuff happens - every 15 minutes you will swap your painting with a neighbor! Who knows what the end result will be, but it’s going to be fun!
This workshop is all about CONNECTION and meeting those in the community with little emphasis on the outcome - enjoy the process, have fun, connect with your own creativity and those around you.
